Secret Keepers...shhhh, they won't tell.

 

The elusive Secret Keeper - Have you ever seen one? Have you ever heard the tale? My boyfriend says they look like melted marshmallows or ghosts, I tend to agree. This would be a great addition to your Halloween or Fall decorations!

The Legend of the Secret Keeper :

Once upon a time far away there lived a very untrustworthy King. The King had grand thoughts all day long and had no one to tell these wondrous thoughts to. Even though he didn't trust anyone he did have an army of loyal knights.
One day he called upon his knights to go on a quest for him. The King had heard that all over his lands people had hidden "Secret Keepers". The King was not sure what a secret keeper was, only that he needed to possess them all.
His knights returned with many secret keepers whom he told all his grand ideas and secrets to and they lived with him all the days of his life.

These are the Secret Keepers that the legend speaks of and I can not tell you how I came to own them. I have told the Secret Keepers, but they aren't telling either.

ANIMALS ASIA 

After reading a few articles - I was enraged at the prolonged mistreatment of animals that I saw and read about on their website.  I couldn't believe at this day and age we are still finding horrific stories of prolonged torture, cruelty and harmful acts to innocent animals just to satisfy the urges of the human race.  With the knowledge that I gathered I decided - I HAVE TO ACT.  What can I do?  From this thought Just Believe Bears were born.  Hopefully I will be able to create a multitude of these wonderful and inspiring guys!

Rutheford and Gavin have already been lucky enough to find their forever homes but the others are still on their search!!  Maybe you know someone that would like to adopt one?

I love the fact that their larger eye almost looks like a monocle - it adds to their studious and masculine design, even if they come in pink ;)

Rexton's mustache almost looks like lips...but that is ok isn't it?

I am taking some time today to give some BLOG LOVE to two very special ladies on ESTY

I met this first lady Tracy, during a BNR on Etsy.  She was kind enough to purchase some of my Kittie Whiskers for herself, her boys and her Mom >^.^<

Through these purchases her and I have had many convos, learned about each others lives, shared stories, and have become friends!  Tracy is a wonderful lady and mother of two great boys.  She is also a busy mom with a wonderful shop on Etsy called Denmark55033

 

 Tracy specializes in handmade bracelets and homemade soaps.  Her shop is beautiful, colorful and looks as though it would smell splendidly!!

 Tracy was nice enough recently to have some kitty toys, made and sent to me from another super Etsian Crafty Cat Lady

These toys are wonderful!  The organic catnip spelled so nice to my kitty clan of four that they had a hard time sharing!   She was sweet enough to even include a bonus cat toy :)

The toys are made very well and beautifully colored also!

"I got my first cat 10 years ago. Before that, I had no idea how incredibly loving and intuitive cats could be. BGSU

So today I am off to BGSU (Bowling Green State University) to take my niece back to college.

Home of the Falcons!  Freda and Fred to be exact.

I love this trip with the family.  It's usually Carlie, Christy (my Sister and Carlie's Mom) and Momma :)
As usual where ever we go we have an adventure!  On top of all that we will be shopping for a few hours @ the Toledo Mall!  It's wonderful there, so many shops to choose from and they have Chick-Fil-A.  If you you've never had it, you have to try it.  They have the best chicken I have ever tasted in a fast food restaurant!!

we are all about the food!  We map out our meals almost as closely as we map out our drive!!

On that note time to finish the last of the packing up, hop in the shower and then hit the road!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

My Little Poo

My lil' not so little Kitty, Andee

I love this guy right here and I am missing him something awful.  I had to take him to the vet this morning and they decided that they should keep him overnight.  I won't get into the gory details of what is wrong with him but I will add a link for anyone that might want to know about his condition.  It is called MEGACOLON. 

I want to take the time to thank my boyfriend, family, friends that are close and ones from around the world and on Etsy for taking the time to think of me and my baby.  You all are just so wonderful for showing your concern in this time when I have felt very weak.  

Andee is just so sweet and I don't know what I would do if I lost him at such a young age.  So thank you, your prayers and thoughts are so appreciated.

Also, last but definitely not least...there is a lady named Donna who read in a BNR the story about what was going on with Andee today. Then out of the kindness of her heart purchased two of my kitties.  She attached a note to say "To help with your vet bills!"

Feedback...

I am a new seller on Etsy and compared to my Mom or Sisters,I am also fairly new to my craft.  I have only been making hand made plushies for a few years now.  I know that they are something I love and adore but sometimes when it comes to others buying my plushies I am still a little concerned that they might not be as well received.  So when I get some good feedback it really makes me smile, in a truly genuine way!!

I got this feedback today about Walter

"Walter is here! He is adorable, and you are right sooo soft. I know my Granddaughter will love him. For now he is lounging on the bed in the guest bedroom. He was tired after his travels. :) Thank you again. Very cute, and well made."
